How we handle your details
This notice covers this page and the "Talk to us" form on it. Last updated 7 November 2026.
Who we are
Ọjà Lab is an experimental business simulator, run in the United Kingdom by its founder, Olusoga Ade, who decides how your details are used (the "controller"). To get in touch about your details, use the Talk to us form and choose "About my data".
What we collect
- If you send the form: your name, work email, organisation, your role if you give it, the topic you choose and your message.
- When anyone opens this page: Netlify, which hosts it, keeps standard server logs (such as the network address, browser type and the page asked for) to run and protect the site. We see only totals, such as how many times a page was loaded. We do not see who you are.
This page sets no cookies and loads nothing from other websites. There are no adverts or tracking tools.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your form details only to reply to you and to follow up on the conversation you started, for example to arrange a call or send a proposal. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering organisations that contact us about working together. We do not add you to a mailing list, sell your details or share them for marketing.
Who else handles it
- Netlify, Inc. (United States) hosts this page and stores form messages.
- Automattic, Inc. (United States) checks form messages for spam through its Akismet service, on Netlify's behalf.
- Twilio SendGrid (United States) delivers the email that tells us a message has arrived, on Netlify's behalf.
These companies act on our instructions. Your details are stored in the United States, outside the UK and Nigeria, under the safeguards these providers offer for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep form messages for 12 months after we last hear from you, then delete them. Messages that are spam are deleted when we see them. If we go on to work together, what we need for that work is kept under the terms we agree with you.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, to correct them, to delete them, or to stop us using them. Use the form and choose "About my data". We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK (ico.org.uk) or, in Nigeria, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng).
The game itself
The Ọjà Lab demo keeps your runs on your phone, has no account, and counts only totals, such as how many runs were started, never people. You can turn the counting off in its Settings.
